In the article "How Geniuses Think" the authors interpretation of what is a genius is does not have to do with how they score on a test like the SATs or what ones IQ is. The author states that a genius is someone who comes up with many different solutions for one problem. Genius are always trying to find another way to do problems. Some of the shared strategies of geniuses are looking at problems in different ways, making ones thoughts visible, and think in opposites. These strategies help us in our genius hour projects because we have to look at things in many ways if something does not work out the way we plan it to. We also have to be prepared for the chance that an item we cook might not turn out or taste the best since we have not made it before.
